contactor placement

where do you normally place a winch contactor front or back??

Near the battery. I mounted mine in the rear inside the toolbox. A lil more work but, worth the effort.

stock placement is under the right front wheelwell - theres a special splashguard

if its on your 700 just look under your right side front wheel and see a small steel plte mounted to the frame rail w/ holes in it as brut said. the bike is already prewired for it.

Tis true. The warn winch installation booklet I recieved suggested to mount inside the rear toolbox. i thought about it a bit and decided it was worth the extra effort to put inside the rear toolbox. Completelly out of the weather. Just had to drill/silcone the wires going in....[img]i/expressions/light.gif[/img]
