Default Polaris Trail Boss Photos

Hi... i just bought a used Polaris Trail Boss 250cc from 99, and i need a little help cause i don't know what the lights near the handlebar mean. I don't know what each light means. If someone has a Polaris Trail Boss and could take some pictures of it, would be great.
Another question, is is normal the PVT belt to be a little loose? My dad said it would stretch when the atv starts to roll on... that's true, or it should alway be stretched?

Sorry my english, i'm from Portugal...

Thank u

P.S. - If possible, send the pictures to my email: underscor3@hotmail.com

The lights are possibly telling when you are in (N) for neutral, (R) for reverse or (D) for drive, and or (H) for high, (L) for low, kinda like on my 400 scrambler, I don't have the high or low lights, the belt will be loose untill the engine speed increases, the clutches will tighten up, then the atv will move, good luck

as far as the belt goes, it should be setting pretty much at the top of the secondary(NON ENGINE CLUTCH) while sitting theree. if its setting too far down the belt may be worn out. it shouldnt stretch that much. if you were on a hill yes the bike would roll w/out breaks being on.

First of all... thanks everyone for the replys

vinman: Can u take a photo of your "lights zone", cause my trail boss doesn't have any legends for those lights, so i don't know what they mean... or tell me what they mean, from left to right...
By the way, i'm restoring my trail boss, cause it has been unused for some years, now it's disassembled, i'm going to paint and make a big revision to her, if u guys want to see some pics, i got some...
Does the trail boss have side repeaters?? the direction change light? Mine doesn't, but there are some cables that were cut off... but i don't see on the handlebar any left/right switch...

Best regards to everyone
