Well my digital fuel guage on my two Sp 450's still shows full after about 30-35 miles of riding......Then the bars start dropping off faster!!!........So full on mine don't really move for awhile!!......Caper........

Most Polaris Quads are like this .....That's what I hear...Anyway!!!!

My point was ,once your at the last remaining bar you still have no idea how far you can travel on that last remaining bar, 2 miles or 20?. I had a 81 750 Yamaha Seca with that set up.

The only set up I really trust was the old ski-doo with the dip stick fasten to the cap where you pulled it out to look at the wet line.

First hand experience ... I can ride very aggressive on my '03 Scrammy 500HO for the better part of the day....once it sputters.... I have about 5-6 miles before the long walk back!!!! I learned the hard way!!! I now carry 1.5gallons in a little red reserve tank on the back rack!!! Live a little!!! Walk alot !!!

Thanks for all the info. A guy who sells gauges on ebay (the-partconnection) is modifying a stock unit to fit mine.

Thanks Again

Hell the last time I was out riding my reserve didn't help anyways. The bike started running like crap and sucked down all the fuel anyways... My buddy had to run back to camp and bring me more gas just to make it back lol
