Ya, its worth a try, but you guys know how dealers are. They wont wanna do that because then if that is the problem they didnt sell you the box. Its worth a try though to ask. Worst they can do is say no.

Wisbowhunter, post your questions at arcticchat.com Those guys are A-1 when it comes to Cats. I would also check all your vent lines, particularly the tank and carb. They can kink up,(when the bike was reassembled from repair), and they can clog up from dust and mud. Disconnect and blow through them, making sure they're not stopped up.

I have checked all the vent lines, filters, used an auxillary tank grrr...lol.. as far as plugging in a different cdi, thats what I am trying to do, problem is I cant find another machine and the dealer wont do it unless I pay 437 for the box and then if it doesnt fix it I have an expensive paper weight. Ive sent a few emails out to different dealers around the good old state of wis and hopefully I can find one close to try it. no luck yet. monday I will have it back and I will push it in the garage and try to get it running again (evidently now the shop cant keep it running at all now) so I will see whats up with that now
