Default Probably a simple question

I have a 95 425 mag 4x4 that is chain driven. when I hit the gas it moves quick fast and in a hurry. I also have a 2000 500 mag 4x4 that is basically the same thing the major difference being that it is shaft driven. When I get on it, it takes a lot of gas to get it going initially but once it get moving it does well. It acts like a car with an automatic transmission that is really low on fluid. I doubt it has anything to do with the shaft drive but if I knew for sure I wouldnt be writing this. Does anyone know what it might be? By the way thanks to everyone for the advice in the previous posts. It seems like you guys know your stuff.

Check out your clutches, make sure there are no grooves worn in any sheaves, and all bushings are ok I think it's probably the buttons in the secondary clutch, have you ever replaced them?

Trade it in for an EFI. More power and better mileage.

A 2 month old machine should still be under warranty. I would bring it back hand them the key and ask them to fix it.
