Default Polaris Back rest

i was looking to maybe get one of those Lock in ride Back rests for my 800, on our 75 mile trip this saturday my back started hurting just a little (mostly from bouncing on all the rocks)

just wanted to know if anyone has used this and any thoughts or comments on it?

also if anyone knows how adjustable it is like how far up the seat it will go?

thanks to all

Default Polaris Back rest

I have one on my 700. It's nice. It moves a little but supports pretty good. I think the price it too much but it does help. Maybe look for a use one.

It moved up pretty far. I leave mine back all the way and my back still touches barely.

Good luck.

Default Polaris Back rest

i bought the tamarack titan cargo bag and is stiff enough to lean back on.... i bought it from e-bay cheaper than the msrp... i like it alot, it gives you storage and doubles as a back rest... it took some getting use-to because i have never had a storage bag or back rest... not sure how much $ the back rest is but you might want to look at this as an option... hope this helps

I like the looks of the Titan box. Looks great! When I bought my SP it came with the backrest so I went with a soft bag so it would lay over the backrest "arms". If you plan on having a storage box (hard box) the backrest will not work. It's an either or situation. If the box/backrest combo works for you (not back too far) then I would go that route!! Otherwise the backrest and softbag works pretty well.

I have the back rest that goes on the Polaris lock and ride box, it is soft and comfortable but it is not adjustable in anyway, it looks like it is the same thickness as the lock and ride back rest

The back rest is a definite plus, I also use the polaris storage box since they both are made to lock down I customized my back rest and mounted it to the box. Works great. You will see a difference.
