WTB: Speedometer

I looked into this a bit, you might be able to search on it, there's a good thread or two on it. I also realized you can buy a GPS and it will give you your speed, pretty accurate too.
My friend just got a job at Garmin, and the employees can buy 10 items a year at a good discount for friends and family, so I'm waiting on him to get mine. You can take it off, it's just powered by batteries too.

Have you considered any aftermarket ones?
Trail Tech makes a good one. It will give you speed, top speed, rpm, water temp, air temp, ride hours, trip hours and time. Got mine for 100 bucks.
Also gives the formula to accurately calibrate the speedometer to the tire/wheel combo you are using on the quad.
Powered by changeable battery, and off the battery of the quad.
Installation was easy.
