Default barometric pressure sensor CODE 45

Well I read a lot of posts about different reasons for getting a code 45 on a sportsman 700 efi. barometric pressure sensor is code 45. I got to looking at all the different things that you all post and found out that I had a wire that was rubbing on the fuel injection. I dressed up the wire some and then put some electrical tape around it. Once I did that I put a piece of pipe insulation around the wires so that it wouldn't rub into again. You could see on the aluminum where the wire had been rubbing. I guess that explains why sometimes I'd get the code and not other times. I hope this helps some folks. It took a lot of digging on different sites to read all the different trial and errors. Thanks for the help in some of the extra long post I read.

Yeah I was glad I found it too. I was about 40 miles from the truck the last time that the check engine light came on. When you don't have the codes with you on the trail you tend to worry till you get home.
