Default ATV Security locks and chains

I just bought a 2006 Polaris EFI Quad. I'm look for a good security lock and chain because my insurance won't cover me without them. Any suggestions?

I use Kryptonite cable locks around the frame and around the support pole in my garage. Lock it around any immovable object or 2 quads together. It's pretty hard to steal 2 quads that are chained together.

Thank you Sandman2.0, my first and only Quad at the moment but chaining up to a snowblower should work.

I bought the thickest cable wire Home Depot carried that
is rubber coated 12ft with loop ends using big contractor
Master locks. $25 a piece. Yes, lock up to unmovable
object, post or something going thru frame Vs. bumper
or something that can be removed. And out of sight out
of mind, hide, or cover it!

once they get in your garage with tools and cover theres no lock made that will stop them

the best thing i found you can do is park the quad in front of the vehicles and give them no access to the door unless they lift it over , i park mine in the front and theres no way to get em out till i pull at least one vehicle out

True the block and barracade method is very effective. Its all DEFENSE-in-DEPTH when
it comes to security!

Thanks for the help. I was on line checking out Home Depot for locks and chains and ran across another site that talked about the Onguard Beast Chain & Lock. It's advertised as "designed to protect against cutting". Anyone use or had any experience with it?

a nice big dog helps a lot , my hunting dogs wouldn't hurt any one but if they don't know you ,they sound off with very loud and convincining barking like theer going to rip your head off ,and a locked garage also helps .
