I don't mind lawsuits when it comes to a company or people who have a defective product or whose employees cause somebody harm. It's the ambulance chasing types where a guy gets drunk, drives a hundred miles per hour and gets airborn and hits a jersey barrier and sues the state or something like that. Personal responsibility isn't high on the court's list these days. It's like when Rodney King said, "why can't we all get along"? My answer goes something like this: It's because idiots like you get high on PCB, steal a car, drive down residential streets at 80 mph with the police chasing you, fail to stop until you crash the car, don't listen to the police when they tell you to lie face down with your hands behind your back, and instead start throwing cops around like bean bags. Then when they try to tackle you, you keep throwing them around and hitting them. And you get a big settlement after you force the police to use more force than necessary. Oh, and after that you go back to a wasted life of crime. Maybe that's why we don't all get along.... Just my .02 worth. I've known good and bad lawyers, just and unjust judges.
