NO spark

Default NO spark

I had this same problem with my 94 300. It turned out to be the plug wire where it enters the cap. I cut off the old cap and installed a new NGK cap and it was good as new. I was riding along and all of a sudden, nothing. Sounds like it could be the same thing for you. I hope so.

Thanks I will try that also........Where can you buy just the cap??? or can I buy a whole new wire???

an auto parts store might have it or local motorcylce shop had one for my 400 sport.

I do not know if they are the same thing but I had a 185s honda atc that would be running very good then for no readson it would just die and yes no spark I bought a new coil for it new plug wire new plug but it just done the same thing it turned out to be the pick up coil in the magneto that actually sent the spark to the coil replaced that never had anymore problems it was running like a champ when I sold it about a year later hope this helps ya some

Well I just replaced as a last resort I eliminated everything else if I remember it was not a high price part but you can probably check it with a OHM meter just call a shop and see what the specs are on it I just figured I has replaced everything else so I just put a new one on well hope this helps

on my magnum 500 you can test the pulser coil with an ohm meter. from white to white/red you should have 97 ohms. on the magnum 325 there should be 520. from white to ground there should be no connection. i dont know if this will help. its not a really expensive part. i got mine from rmstator.com for about 30 bucks if you dont mind wating a couple of days.

NOTHING!!!! no spark looks like its going into the shop we will see what happens and how much this endeavor is going to cost me

o that could be expensive if you arn't carefull didn't someone on hear say that some dealers charge a crazy $85 an hour labor?
