Default NO spark

I ahve a 1992 polaris 350L 2 stroke Last night they guys and I were going to go out for a ride and it was Icy here in missouri so....of course I let it warm up. The quad was covered in a thin layer of ice. but I started it and let it warm up we went back inside and about 5 min later we heard it die. Went back out and it wouldn't start so we pulled the plug and checked it for spark.......NO SPARK.... Does anyone have any Idea what it could be I spoke with polaris in town and they said they have never had a coil go out in one so I am stuck as to what it could be? Oh and one more thing I also checked the stator by following the Clymers manual and testing the red/yellow and yellow wire with an ohmeter it seems to be fine any help would be great

just a thought I had the same thing happen once it was a bad flywheel the magnet broke loose. also check your spark plug wire. You should get a service manual to help you out with the electrical end of it.
