I have an 05 trail boss, and I love it. It is fast enough to ride the tight trails with my brothers on their sport bikes, but much more comfortable to ride. It is just what it's name imply's, a good trail bike. It is kind of the "jack of all trades but master of none" bike :-)

I have an 03 which I believe is the same as your 08. It's a great machine, works well in tight woods. the jack of all trade comment above is spot on in my opinion.
