I HAVE JUST PURCHASED THIS ATV AND IT RUN'S GREAT. WHEN I START IT UP I GET AN EE ON THE DISPLAY AND MY MILEAGE AND HOURS ARE SHOWING ZERO. THE HOURS DON'T CHANGE OR THE MILEAGE EITHER. THE ODOMETER ACTUALLY WORKS WHILE RIDING BUT WHEN YOU TURN IT OFF AND RESTART IT IT'S BACK TO ZERO. IS THERE SOMETHING LOOSE OR WHAT'S GOING ON WITH IT? ANY IDEAS FROM YOU EXPERTS? THANKS

 

has anything been added like an override switch or anything? does the awd work, does it show proper gear selection?

 

nothing that i'm aware of has been added. yes the gear selector and awd all works. i would like to get it working correctly if possible. is the ee at start up an error code or something?

 

so the speedo part works and guessing the rpm gage as well? so you can scroll thru and get all the things to work and it just resets it self w/ the total milage. im not 100 % sure what the EE means.

 

i just checked in the manual i have, but its for an 05'efi 800 so it has a differnt set up then yours and didnt saying anything about an EE sorry.

 

yes everything else works. the mileage and hours show zero. the odometer works while riding but after cutting it off it rezeroes itself also. like a car radio with the memory wire not hooked up. it looses it's memory when the key is cut off. i think the ee is some kind of code. i guess i will ask at the local dealer if i can't find out anything else. thanks stephen
