Default polaris shifter

they all have the same style of shifting and as long as you dont have it idled too high it shouldnt be to bad. one smooth stroke to shift and its not too bad.

Default polaris shifter

i have a 1998 sport 400 and i just redid the trans myself and it is also hard to shift but i also have a 2001 polaris scrambler 500 it is so easy i could just hit it with the back of my hand and it will shift neather of them grind tho. so there is a difference between older modles and newer ones that became easier to shift
probably around 2000 they became easier.
