I'd take a look at what the trailer is rated for and then give yourself some room for adding extra's. I would think mine dresses out at around 1000 lbs with plows and winches etc. you'll most likely carry more fuel and tools in the cargo box. I came home from ice fishing last weekend and i bet i had 400 lbs of ice hanging on the frame and fenders. it took a week for it to melt off.
I will need to look at your tounge weight as Caper suggested. I think you will tear up your Xterra hauling a ton +.
I use a 12' landscape trailer with a single axle. I think it has a GVW of 3000 lbs. The trailer is about 900 lb so more or less that gives me about 2100 lbs of cargo.
I'm sure someone will correct me on my GVW specs but my point is I wouldn't risk 10 K worth of 4 wheelers on an $800.00 trailer.

Thanks for your help.
Here is a link to the makers web page:

I would be looking at the 8'6"x7'3" and the info is listed at the bottom.
It looks like I would be ok, but maybe I'm wrong?
Thanks again.

I think it looks pretty well balanced for two. The quad on the rear would have most of the wieght on the back of the axle, the quad on the front is a little more towards the front so it will be slightly heavier on the tongue which is how you want it to keep sway down. I would think if it sits level you would not be over 500lbs of tongue wieght. With it being 8'6" you would still have about 6" to slide them both further back if it feels heavy up front.

I use a 101 inch wide double Gal. snowmobile trailer with nose shield!!
It tilts and still is wide enough to carry 2 snowmobiles in the winter!!
Most if not all ATV trailers are not wide enough for two sleds.......So this is the way I went....
Also I had a 5 foot x14 feet inline trailer out for a test with my two Sp 450 @ 700 + pounds each dry
And it towed very well....A bit too long to store in the garage though!!!.....Caper........
