okay this does portain to me cause i just replaced my cv axle that i bought complete. anyway, one of my buddies is gonna just re-boot his cv because of a tear in the boot itsslef. he dodn't want to invest in a whole new axle,..yet. he asked me what kind of grease would be good to used to re-pack full if he didnt buy the grease from a dealer? i didnt know what type of grease would work so thats why im here asking you guys. would "molly" grease work? thanks for the help................shea............

I bought some CV grease from Advance Auto.

 

i used marine grease when i repacked a couple of them. some use white litham if they ride in cold.
