It is VERY important to remember the red locktite on the threads of the clutch nut when you reassemble the clutch!

and the nut that you have to put blue loctite on is the big nut that you have to use the impact wrench on, right? thanks for the vids, i will probably do that this weekend and the airbox mod.

Dare, I would be a little skeptical of using Blue loctite since it is a light duty thread locker that is intended for bolts 1/4" to 3/4" with easy hand tool disassembly, we don't want this...Red (271) is intended for 3/8" to 1" threads and heavy duty use, we DO want this!

From Loctite's website:

OEM specified as 271

High temperature, high strength for heavy duty applications

Designed for larger fasteners 3/8" to 1" (9.5mm to 25mm)

Locks studs, bushings and large fasteners against vibration loosening

Strengthens slip and light press fits

Removable with heat and hand tools

most likely i would say use blue, as red is made more for threads you do want to come off again as it have alot more alot more staying power then blue. its basicly so the nut cant vibrate off. blue would be fine.
