So, I'm looking at getting back into the 4 wheeled fun...I seen a decent 2001 500HO...

However, I had problems with my old one, namely CV boots, and belts....Is this a problem on them still? Still, I mean in 01, when this one was made...

What problems should I look for on a unit this old?

I just bought a used one not to long ago. The issues I have had with it are as follows. When in gear, it creeps. Probably something to do with the EBS bushing being worn out. I had to replace the battery and voltage regulator. And when running it at half throttle or more for a period of time (down trails) the exhaust gets red hot. That is about it. Other than that, it starts right up and runs awesome. I would like more power though!
