I need some help makeing a decision. I want to get the HPD big bore kit for my 1999 400 Scrambler. What all do I need to have on my bike to put this kit on and what all do I need to get from HPD. I have a Aaen pipe, Boyesen reeds, K&N filter, cluch kit, and it has been jetted. That is all that has been performance wise.
I know that I need to get the Big Bore Billet head(pump gas), and the Wisco Big Bore Piston 86.5mm. What else do I need? Do I need to get a Big bore replacement Chamber?? Or a Billet head Gridle kit??
And I know that this will really help bottom end. What else will this do for me?

Thanks for the help.

Phillip

Ask your question. I am pretty sure that Jim Dostine has a big bore kit in his 400. He has also removed the reverse gear, which so far has proved to show tremendous gains. (by doing this you are loosing a lot of rotating weight which is good)

Good Luck,

EC
