Did the secondary clutch get preloaded a third of a turn? sounds like the secondary is shifting out with very little pressure. I'd definately got at the secondary clutch. Doc

Clutch instructions as I stated above in my pictures. Read it and it will tell you how to change out springs and about the 1/3 turn counter clockwise in the secondary.

Go with an HPD violet secondary(stated above by ftwflh) and a new belt if yours looks worn.

What you really need to do is take apart what you have and make sure everything you have is working right. Check buttons, belt, secondary settings ect... then go from there.

There have also been many many topics about the scrambler clutching in this forum.

If you are on a budget plan upgrades in stages. But make sure what you have is working right first.

I also went and looked at everyone here who has a scrambler and what the most common mods are and use that for a basis. You will notice many people have the same core mods. Those are the ones to look into as a starting place.

Good luck

no. the only way the it could be off is that it was put together wrong or the spring broke or came out of the holes.
