Default 08/SP800?

My rear brake lights only light up when I use the hand lever they are not working when I use the foot lever is this normal? I would think they should come regardless of what lever you use to brake. Any help please would be awesome!

Thanks.............

Haven't noticed that but I'd bet it is normal. Polaris calls the foot brake " auxiliary" as a backup for the main brake. Sort of like an emergency brake, even if that's not how some of us use it. The brake light switch would be on the handle bar.

There isn't a brake switch on my 07 for the foot brake and I haven't run across one that does yet....

As stated above, the foot brake is an auxilliary and not connected. Your quad is fine.

Well that sums it up then..............I just think that there should be a switch for the foot brake also being a saftey thing cause you know not everyone uses the hand brake some riders probably just use the foot brake all the time............

I would love to disconnect my foot brake. When I first got the bike I had to change the back pads because I was standing on the foot brake while riding and did not realize it and smoked that back pad off in a hurry.
