Default 4x4 hub question and secondary button question

This past weekend i was looking at my dads 2003 magnum 330 and my 2002 magnum 325 i noticed that the front hubs are different. did polaris just redesign them or what? On the 325 they stick out about 2 or 3 inches and on the 330 they look like the rear hubs. What is the difference? Does the 2002 magnum 325 have HDS?

What do the buttons do in the secondary? I dont really understand what they do. Has anyone tried the ritter secondary buttons?

chances are by looking, he has the newer style roller cage front end(guessing on this) and yours are the older style. the buttons in the secondary clutch are to the helix can smoothly ride on them as the clutch opens up. im guesing ricks are more user friendly for better better and longer performance.

so which hubs are better? I was thinking of getting ritters scondary buttons b/c i htink mine are shot. during the fall i noticed theengine bog down at WOT going down the road, then i let off and it didnt do it again for another 10 min or so. Are the buttons bad that are in the seondary?
