question about sportsmans

Default question about sportsmans

would it be worth getting a 2005 sportsman 800 that is totaled for parts? for around 1800 how much would you pay for it could i buy a 500 or around the same year and swap out engine trans clutches and all of teh important stuff. this guy ran into something head firstand prob roled the guy says engine fires right up it looks like the front of he frame and stuff is all bent in and garbage. it has duel eghaust and all of teh parts with it from teh rear it looks good nothing bent or it looks that way. would it help if i posted pics?

I would say if it's cheap, buy it and I wanna see a 800 Scrambler in 6 months time!!! Anything is possible with time and money!!

lol theres an idea no my scrambler is not in teh greatest coondition the frame is week and i am selling it i ment would it be worth buying that totaled 800 sportsman for around 1800 and a sportsman 500 for around 2000 to make a sportsman 800? would i be able to make that transformation with a almost 0 income its all me doing this with the money and i am 14 and noone is hiring below 18 around hear i might be getting a part time job soon thow. i have a jet ski hopping to sell for around $1000 and my scrambler for around $2000 after i fix it. i have some money saved up thow.

$1800. is a little pricey unless the whole drive train is still good imo. yea it would make a great scrambler or trail blazer lol. hang on.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

You would have a minimum of $3800 plus time invested. Just go find a good used 800 and save yourself a lot of headaches.

everything looks perfect exept teh front part of the frame is twisted and everything infrontof the handlebars is smashed horribly.
