Default Polaris 1988 250 trailboss help!!!

Hello, i have an 88' trial boss 250 that i am having some electrical problems with. The headlight works, and when i turn the key the neutral light comes on( its in neutral ) but the electric start, and the brake light dont work, I also get NO spark. The battery is brand new, and the plug is brang new. IDK what too look for. If i had a wiring diagram it would help greatly but i am having trouble finding one. If anyone has seen this problem, or knows what is wrong with my machine please help. It would be greatly apreciated.

you have no spark? does the starter even turn over, click or anything? did you make sure the kill switch is working correctly?

Might be loose wires on the solenoid. Mine did that and found a loose connection.

I checked the solenoid. i think... the one behind the battery mounted directly to the frame?

That's correct, mine got loose over a period of time riding due to vibration. There are also some inline fuses that might present a problem as well.
