Well unfortunately I hurt my back about a month ago and havent been to work since. Other than getting an awsome back rub from some very fine ladies everyday it really sucks. Havent been able to ride other than around the yard so Here I am with more time on my hands than I know what to do with. Anyway after looking at Quadavators site I'm thinking about getting everything for my Sporty. How do you guys like the mods. Worth the money? I would think the temp gauge would def. put your mind at ease on those hot runs, and I would like to have all 3 lights. The backup one would just be cool not necessity, and the overide would be nice too. Go head lets hear what you got to say. Oh and how are the installs on these mods Huge pain in the **** or just a lil time consuming?

Yah, I put the 3 light mod, rev. overide and temp gage on my '04 700. Straightforward instructions and pretty simple install. I was nervous cutting a hole in the pod for the temp gage, but no biggy. I am going to put these mods on my new bike once the weather breaks ! Maybe 16 inches of snow today!!

I have the quadovator temp guage and reverse override switch. Good customer service and quick shipping, nice instructions, etc. Here's the setup on my 500:

I ordered the reverse override, temp gauge, 3 light mod, reverse light mod and fan on/off switch from Quadovator. Everything was easy to install (even if soldering connections as I did) and instructions are great. They also provide excellent customer service. The only thing I didn't install was the fan switch. It was real tight to get to the wiring and would have left the wire splice in a vulnerable spot for getting wet/muudy. Pics of my pod are in my gallery if interested.

quad is a good company for sure and i put the same gage as sheep did and had good luck w/ it on my 06' 800. basicly it helps ya keep an eye on if the radiator is getting plugged as it will run hotter. that is the real advantage of it. override i did my self, but they offer a bunch of good products.
