Default 3 light mod?

Do you think It would be better to wire it with a diode or a relay set-up?

Ok...

Let's start it....

I do it by myself after ALOT of research.....DIODE MOD

You have to buy a heavy duty DIODE...radio shack part *276-1661, they come pack of four...around 2,66$.

Preparation...

You just weld 1 wire's on the ends of each side of the diode and seal with heat shrink. ( I weld a YELLOW and GREEN wire....for later easy connection )

Your looking for the yellow and green wire's coming from the headlight swich. Look at the switch ( there two main loom out of the switch with many wire in ) and follow.......UNDER the top of the headlight pod.

You have to splice in to the wire loom to find the GREEN and YELLOW wires to make some connection.

The rectifier DIODE will ONLY work one way, on mine the GREEN wire goes to the end with the gray stripe, and the black end goes to the yellow wire.

There is a possability of wiring it backwards !!!!!

Try it ....if it dont work just reverse it.

Just get some electric connecter to tap in to the wires under the light pod

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CUT ANYTHING !
work great since I bought my X2....endjoy

Sorry I did a type error...

you have to weld 1 wire on each side of the DIODE. I weld a yellow wire on the black side and a green one weld on the gray stripe side of the DIODE.

Sorry I'm not perfectly billingual...
