2003 600 sportsman
G'day all,
I found this site a little while ago and decided i would join in the action. We have a couple over here in OZ but nothing like the size of this!.I have a 600 sportsman which i absolutely love to ride, and have access to some great areas here in my state.
I have a question for the polaris guru's ,hope you can help.
My quad goes well but seems to be over revving for the speed it's travelling at.I only weigh 80kilograms(175 POUNDS) so the 600 is more than enough to chuck me around. Is it possible to gear it up so it doesn't rev as hard.Perhaps some sort of clutch adjustment?Info is pretty limited here so getting good info is almost impossible.
Any help would be great.Look forward to yarning with ya!

Sounds like the clutch set-up is wonky for where you ride. I would go with a heel clicker clutch kit as it seems to be the hot ticket for tuning the clutch in a Polaris. Go online and enter Heel Clicker clutch and you should be able to find some one to order form and get set-up advice from also. Good luck and happy trails!!!
