I also ride mostly trails, in the Tillamook State Forest here in Oregon.
I ride with NW Quadriders or with my wife either the forests or another
50 miles and we have the Oregon Coast and ride the beach and dunes.
Here's a video of a ride at Browns Camp in the TSF.

Also is there a way to send private messages? I have pictures
or will take pictures and get them to you.

I haven't read on this forum enough to see how things are done
around here.

Cld you explain "just cut a few winds out of the spring for the vacuum slide." what this is and what it does. [img][/img]</end quote></div>

If you buy a jet kit it will come with a softer spring for the vacuum slide in the carb allowing the slide to open faster for better throttle response. If you take the stock spring and cut about 6 winds out of the spring it will accomplish the same thing but without spending any money.

i have an '06 hawkeye 300, and i took out that little screen and ring from the tip of my exhaust and that made a significant increase in power because it allows the air to flow out the exhaust quicker. thats the only mod, and i can make it wheelie on flat ground.
