MY SON HAS A 06 ARCTIC CAT 250.

HE REALY NEEDS A 4X4. SINCE I LIKE THE POLARIS I WAS THINKING MAYBE I WOULD GET HIM A USED HOWKEYE..

ARE THEY WORTH IT.....??? I HAVE HERD SOME BAD THINGS BUT THATS NORMAL WITH ANYTHING.

OR DOES IT DEPEND ON THE YEAR??</end quote></div>

First ones had some bugs but all seem to be worked out. Have an 06 & 08 and really like the reliability, simplicity, and handling.

I can tell you from first hand experiance, a Hawkeye in 2 ft. of snow + stock tires= STUCK...several times anyway. But as I recall so were the King, rincons, and grizzly...everyone did their time on the end of the tow rope that day! Actually, one of the Rincons finished the day early on the end of that towrope blowing that fancy auto tranny and got a $2000 bill in the process!
