Hi, My Scramblers 4x4 is acting up. When going forward the front hubs will not engage but in reverse they work perfect.
Any ideas?

in reverse do you have to hit the override? if so then did you try hitting the override in forward? is teh light on your dash cnanging when you put it in nutral or reverse? maby the gear sulector is acting up and it thinks you are in reverse but your not. no wait that would make you have to hit the overide in forwards to move. never mind well still try the override button amyway.

 

No it does not matter if I hold the over-ride button or not the front hubs engage in reverse all the time, when the switch is on of course.

 

but isn't there a safty that takes them out of 4/4 in reverse unles you hit the override? or is that just in newer modles or just in sportsmans?
