Default Exhaust snorkels

As I posted previously I would like to get snorkels on my Sp 500. I thought it was as simple as intake/exhaust snorkels, however, doing research i see it is for the airbox and for the clutch housing. I would have thought you would need exhaust snorkels but some people say you dont. I would like to run them anyways does anyone have input on this?? If it is recommended to do exhaust snorkels does anyone have pictures or info on doing that??

Thanks

this is the thing, it has to stay running! If it quits for any reason while the exhaust is under water the engine will be flooded...
