I am new to this forum and was wondering if a k&n filter and jet kit would be worth doing? seems to have some throttle lag. also would it be wise to put a larger snorkle on? stock one seems very restricted. I would appreciate any help.

 

More air in + more air out = increased hp....so definitely worthwhile imo. Before you rejet pay close attention to where the throttle stumbles...idle to 1/8 throttle, mid, or full. This will indicate where you need to make your changes. Your on the right track, tho.

Have you adjusted the pilot screw? Your problem is likely in the pilot circuit.
