i am having issues with 1 the wheeler will not shut off when the key or kill switch is turned to off it just keeps running also 2 the wheeler when in any gear on the road or off will go from it's top end and just cut the rpms down when you are able to tap the rev or rpm limiter this seems to give it a quick fix but it will return restricted in less then a minute now i just got a new rev limiter and put it on it seemed to be great for three days or so then right back to the same thing oh also the ignition switch is now brand new-and no change at all, does any one have any ideas i have tried adjusting the jet no help, here is something that seems odd it seems that when the rpms are held back the wheeler at that time seems to not shut off when turned off but when it fix's it seems to shut off, wierd i know but thats the way it seems, anyone have some ideas to help... i would really appreciate the help,

Check all the wires going to the rev limiter, sounds like a wire shorting out, maybe the dealer gave you a bad one, sounds like their on the right track maybe take it back and tell them what it does.Look closely at any brown colored wires, sounds like a bad ground , all brown wires are grounds.

The reverse limiter on the 425 magnum is controlled by the gear shift lever. We have seen instances where the shifter would be in Hi or Lo and the gear position switch would be indicating Reverse. Something you may want to look into.
As for not shutting off with the switch or key, the wire panel on the left side looks like a rats nest, but is very simply wired - each wire color has a terminal block - - so, all brown wires go to a terminal block, all red/white wires to a terminal block, etc. - check each wire terminal block for loose, disconnected wires.
