I have a 500 HO with a rear rack extender 3.5". Does anyone know if you can use a fuel pack with a rear rack extender or do I have to remove it?

No, you don't have to remove the extender. The fuel pack will still fit just fine. Personally, I think it's a good investment. For my day long trips I have the fuel pack on the back with ice chest on top of it.

Who has a good price on these fuel cells? Sounds like a great idea.

The best price I have found is right thru the Old West Fuel Packs company,$69.95 and if you join the ATV connections full throttle club you can get 10% off.
