polaris 250 electrical
#1
I have recently aquired a trailboss 250 engine and tranny. I am planning to put it in a 50cc chassy or gocart. However, I don't know anything about the electrical. all that I need is a bare bones electrical schematic with electric start and ignition.
It is a 1 cylinder 250cc and the only #'s that I see on it are one the plastic pullstart as follows:
SER. NO.
9702653
PRO. NO.EC25OPFE0823633
BY FUJI HEAVY IND.LTD
there are 6 wires comming out of the engine casing.
3 wires to a black plug (brown/white, black/red, white)
the other 3 wires are seperate (yellow, yellow/red, brown) the brown wire has 2 connectors on it. a grounding eye and a female spade connector.
THE TRANNY HAS THE FOLLOWING markings:
MOD#1341151
SER#97-00531 (THIS IS ON A STICKER ON TOP)
240002 (THIS IS RAISED LETTERS ON THE SIDE)
THE TRANNY ALSO HAS REVERSE. And it has some sort of progresive belt clutch system on it between the engine and tranny. also the chain drive sprocket and the brake disk are on the output shaft of the tranny and the reverse shifter is on top.
