popo 500 roller cage

Default popo 500 roller cage

does anyone know if the john deere rolercage kit will work in the 04.5 sportsman 500 mine is broke on one spot and the 4x4 will not engage ..please help . thanks daniel

Daniel, there has been some discussion on that very subject lately and as I remember the JD kit will work just fine...the cage itself is a touch longer then the old unit but this shouldn't cause an issue!

The JD kit is also considerably less $$$

You may scroll down through the past threads a bit since a thread on this was up last week or just do a quick search...either should find your answer.

well i just didn't know if it would work in mine . i seen it would work on like the 07 but haven't seen it for my year ..

I may be wrong but I'm fairly sure the difs are the same...you may try the Polaris parts site and compare part numbers of your parts to the newer bikes...

well on mine it has one thing with it and on the other one it has some other thing with it ..
