Default Difference in 07 and 08 SP800?

Hi, what is the difference in the standard 800 07 and 08 models. Can't seem to get a good answer from the local dealers. The one with the 07 only says one thing and the one with the 08 only says another.

Thanks

The standard 07 has single exhaust, the deluxe 07 and 08 have dual

The standard 07 does not have active descent control, the deluxe and 08 do

those are the two I know

Supposedly the 08's are an HO motor as well. I read that this gives it 9% more power and like 12% more torque. If this is true or not, I'm not sure. Mine does say HO on the side however.

I think the they put in a bigger cam to get the extra power out of the HO??? The 07 sp800 deluxe should also have EBS, but not ADC. But, if you are asking because you may purchase one, I would go with the 08 HO for sure, unless they are willing to let the 07 go cheap......which was my scenario! $2k difference for me!

Thanks everyone.

The 07 is 800.00 less then the 08 and the dealer with the 07 doesn't seem very honest. He said they were the same, both single exhaust ect. If the 07 was 2 grand less I would go for it.

the 05 thru 07' is the same engine and the 08' had a few upgrades to cam valves and timing i think to up a few ponies. i do notice a differnc ebetween my 06 and the 08' 800. if you could afford it i would go w/ the 08' as it has the 07' delux fetures and a switchable awd/adc and just doesnt come w/ the cheaper polaris winch. imo.

The one thing the 08's do not come with were the rear work lights. I had my dealer add them for me though.

All you need for the worklights is a switch and the bulbs. I added the bulbs and the Polaris switch...all for $25. There is no need to pay the dealer to make them work.
