Default Tie rod relocation

I have an 06 Sportsman 450 , just bought a set of Mud Bugs 28/10-12/12 and a set of ITP Delta stell wheels with a 4+3 offset . The front tires were rubbing off of the tie rods so I flipped them to the bottom of the mount . Will there be any problems doing this , has anyone else done this , please advise

we did things like this with teh cars without a problem we just made shure that the suspention going up and down didn't bind up the steering.

lowering the outer improves the bumpsteer, which is bad on a polaris, by bringing the angle of the tie rod and the control arm closer to the same plane. setting up front steering on anything is a real pain, and IMO, polaris isn't very good at it, but as i said it can be improved somewhat. if you want to get a good book on suspension try steve smith's on building a stock car for circle track racing, simple terms, great info.....stroker
