it wont be long until i have to bring it in for the 50 hours service mark.
With some luck, it might make it to the 50 hr mark. Or it could be on the list of one of the quickest quads to become NFG.

so that is the place where the steering shaft ends and has the 2 tie-rods connected to it? and is that something that i would need replaced, or bend it back? it wont be long until i have to bring it in for the 50 hours service mark. how much would the replacement piece cost?</end quote></div>
yea thats what i am talking about but if you straiten it it would real weeken it and it could snap while driving and cause much more damage. unles you straitened it up and welded it to make it stronger but i wouldn't whant to start rigging things on a new atv i would try to buy the replacement.

as far as the "little button things" assuming you're talking about the plastic rivets, you take a flat screwdriver and turn it in the little notch , wich pushes up the top, center part of the rivet</end quote></div>
KD 3888 is a specialized tool to remove the pushpin buttons without damaging them.

what does "NFG" mean? and so if it is that one part where the tie rods come together, it will need to be replaced. would it be a good idea to go ahead and bring it in to the dealership with the 47hrs on it and get the 50fr maintenance on it, and tell them to fix the steering problem while they are at it?

ya, i will plan to do that and will ride it soft and smooth until then. and thats wat i thought that would be OK to take it into the dealer a few hours early. thanks for the help guys!
and also, i was thinkin about getting into doing the maintenance myself. my dad wants me to try because it would save us money. i am 15 yrs old and this is my first ATV. the only work i have done on it is replace a broken fuel line and bleed the whole brake system. would i need to have an air powered wrench to do the general stuff? and what kinds of things do they do for the normal services? and dont tell me to look at the chart, lol!

i never did i have all teh tools i need most of it is just screwdriver a set of wrenches metric and american a torqe rench is not bad to have for repairs you can pick them up for around $40 at sears. a clutch puller for the primary clutch is the only specialty tool you will need if you plan on doing repairs they are around 20 dollars you have to get one for a polaris not a clutch puller for a car or anything like that.
