Default Idle

Hi, I was wondering what the idle rpm's should be on an 08 800 EFI HO? It seems that mine is a bit high. I told the dealer where I bought it from to check it, but I don't think they changed it. Thanks!

Mine is right around 1320 + or - some. I think this is too high and pretty close to where the clutch starts to engage.

your at least 150 rpm too high. take it to the delae to have them lower it. and yes you are close to clutch engagement around 1450 i beleave.

Thanks for the replies guys. That makes me mad because I asked them to check it when it was in there getting the winch wiring replaced. It wouldn't be such a big deal if I had my own truck so I could get it there.

If you guys are right then it's the same as my 500 which hovers around 1150-1180. I'm surprised it would be the same on a twin and a single cylinder. The clutch engagement speed might be the same too.
