Is there such a thing out there thats not a full out race grind. My dads magnum is down and out and he dosen't need anything fancy.

 

Cams come in various grinds for different conditions and rpm operating ranges- What it sounds like is that your looking more for a TORQUER type cam which would give you more low/mid range power then stock and still have roughly the same top end power.
