kinda hard to understand what your saying. First i would make sure that your swithc on the handlebars is on. May be stupid but ive done this before and coudlnt figure out was wrong for about an hour. next i would make sure that you hooked the carb back up correctly.

 

also make sure gas is on, it should be pointing straight down

 

heres wat he said to me im gonna post it here incase anyone else has ideas.

i will try explain this problem better yes the switch on bar is on , i am get a weak spark thru srark plug or just thru srark plug lead , ok i got it to crank and run for about 3 min. then it quit i got fire weak fire i got gas . now on carb installition you got3 small ports the one on very bottom look like a oil line but iam postive it is right cause it to short to come out with carb. the others came out with carb. now iam not sure where they went.so far this is what i done replaced spark plug with new one replaced coil with a good used one .. and the carb. rebuild so what you suggest . contact me at frankgiles47@yahoo.com thanks frank

are you guys trying to pull start it or using hte electric starter? i would try both if your only using electric starter as it might not have enough power to turn the motor over or sometihng. try starting a full throttle also and check wires above oil tank to make sure non were nibbled on by mice.

You need to check your engine compression. If it is low, it will not start. Compression brand new should be 120psi. If it is below 90 psi - you will never get it to start.
