You guys are lucky. In ONtario were around $4.70 a gallon. Dumb thing is Canada ships out more oil to other countries then we use. Can anyone make any sense out of that?

It's all about businesses making money. Most of us whined about it when it was only $2, but it was already over $5 in Europe at the time, so I don't complain much. It was about $6.50 - $6.70 in Holland and Norway three years ago. No telling how high it is now. If the price rose anything like it did here it's over $10 a gallon.

I have a Dura-Max 1 ton with a 60 gallon tank on it!!!! The last time I filled it up I thought I was go-n to have to Float a -LOAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Dang,,,,I remember when gas was 24 cent's a gallon, any=body else????? What really get's-me is Diesel is unrefined GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Talk about a Rip-Off.>>> But-U-Have to Have it.The 1 Ton is my work Truck.

I think gas was $.79 IN '79 when I got my licence. 1 cent a year. I definately remember gas under a dollar even if it was $.99.9. And I'd like to strangle whoever came up with that 9/10 of a cent BS. I never got 1/10 of a cent change back. Non-existent units of money should be illegal.

I remember in the 70's when everybody had to put a piece of cardboard with a "$1" in front of all their gas signs and pumps - because they could only go to .99

Went to fill up the wifes truck last night. A station had it for 3.64 but the line to wait didn't seem worth it. Had to pick up some milk, and got a six pack while I was in the grocery store. At least I had something to do while I went back and waited in line.

Pumps that didn't even go up to a dollar. The good old days. I must be getting old to use those four words. Remember Gasohol from the mid-70s into the 80s? There was controvery about if it was bad for cars or not. I think it was cheaper than plain gasoline. Now almost all gas is 10% alcohol. It's the same exact thing. And real gas is almost impossible to find.
