yep gas keeps going up and it's jumped 2 more times and i'm pretty sur our great()pres. could give a care less. i'm sure he'll keep taking his vacations at our expense while we have a hard time paying gas to go to work>

 

Chevron just announced a 36 percent increase in profit this quarter! This is insane,But if we tried to freeze prices as Jimmy Carter did in 1975,oil companies would just stock pile the oil and slow down,plus I don't want to have to wait in lines and have gas rationed to 10 gallons again! But if it gets past 5 bucks,can't afford it! Its like spitting in the wind! OPT

 

The oil companies make a pretty level 10 cents or so on a gallon of gas. It's just that they are selling much more than they used to. India and China are moving quickly up the industrial ladder and they need the fuel to get there. So, the oil companies are selling more and more gallons of gas. =Larger profits.
