Default front clutch spring

how do i change the front clutch spring? i got a new one from RCR in the stage 1 kit and was wondering how to take the old one out and put the new black and white spring in. do i need to pull the clutch off, or can i change it with the clutch still on the quad?

Take the center bolt out the take the 6 smaller bolts out.replace spring, line up the Xs on both parts, start center bolt enough to get the 6 smaller ones started, torque the 6 bots to a tad less than 20 lbs and the center bolt to 40 lbs

I just put the same spring in mine last week. Take the clutch cover off; take belt off; take a marker and mark the cover to the clutch for the clutch is balanced and you want to put it back the way it was; Take of the middle bolt; (put something through the clutch to hold it)take off the 6 outer bolts; cover comes off and pull the spring out; put in new spring; reverse steps. Clean with compressed air. Just look and make sure nothing broke or worn.

I love it. You will notice that it takes a little more rev to get it moving but you get use to it. I can stand it up pretty easy and I don't have to put it in low to get up those short hills or to hop logs. I love the new power.
