do you happen to know the rates on your spring?</end quote></div>
What do you ride?
The Dalton blk/white is a little much for some utes and 4x4s
It is rated at 39-144
for utes and 4x4s I like an EPI pink 0-140 or Dalton blue 6-144.
You dont get the hard hit on bottom but pulls harder all the way through.

I have a 04 Sportsman 500 ho and I don't know the ratings on the spring but I like it. Mine doesn't hit that hard at all. If you want it to hit hard you can but it is all up to you. Do a search for Rick Ritter and get his phone number and he will answer any of your questions. Rick recommended this spring and I am glad he did.

You wont gain a lot but it will be noticable.Set your secondary from 1-1 (stock) to 2-2 after you try the spring.

hi again ftwflh,we were talking last week about changing to 2-2 the secondary, well to tell you whats happening,i had a stock blu/grn-0-20-115 to a brite green epi# 17-38-123,looks like next size higher is what i want, but now seems to be higher up in the engines power band which is what i wanted, maybe slipping now?? hard to say, new kevlar belt.will putting it to 2-2 make it tighter or rev more, just curious about its effect.nice looking bikes+ fam.i'll have to lookup where your at in your part of il, i'm in cary il which is 40 from chicago+in mchenry county.thanx

If you are going with EPI springs I would go with the marroon and stock weights. O go with the Dalton blk/white stock secondary set 2-2 and a set of 10RH weights.
