TRAILER TOWING REAR SUSPENSION?????
I have an 07 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO EFI deluxe and was wondering if there is something i can put on the rear suspension for towing a trailer behind to keep it from squating when pulling a trailer with some weight on it.I would like something i can put on when im working around the yard and then take back off when ready to play dont know if there is anything available like this.I tried hauling some gravel today on a trailer and it squated the rearend so bad that it made it hard to steer there was plenty of power but the suspension was to soft.I have used my straight axle atv's in the past for this and they worked much better.

I think you're exceding your tounge weight several times over. Try not to break your quad. Polaris used to make a suspension lockout and maybe they still do. Kolpin makes a generic one. It's holds the A-arms in toward each other so the suspension never moves. Someone made a thing that mounts a shock absorber to the back of the rack and the trailer hitch. I can't remember who so I'm looking online and not finding it.

TRAILER TOWING REAR SUSPENSION?????
Stumbled across this place the other day and bookmarked it as it had some interesting looking 'stuff'.
Here is just what you describe... http://www.t-m-2.com/tm2/Lockout.html
Again... watch that tongue weight. Good Luck!

I bought the kloplin one from the online wal-mart store and it works great. I pulled a 16 foot double axled car hauler with an atv loaded on it with the passenger and it never squated and never lost tracktion. (Sportsman 500HO). I don't think I even paid more than 50 dollars for it. The TM2 set up is 200 dollars and they recommend you only go 5 miles an hour and its a lot to install.
