Default Stuck in mud

I can relate reall well, thats the stuff I have at my in-laws house (Eastern Shore, MD) its real marshy, mud is like butter. So I really wonder how good Mudlites or Swaplites would really work?

Hey try losing a boot and having to shovel your way unstuck.

Still can't embed the pics for some reason.

Well, my friend was facing a huge tree about 20 feet away, but his winch was too low and his front was buried so it needed an upward pull. I had a tow strap and wrapped it about 8 feet high up the tree, then we attached his winch to that. I lifted on his front bumper while he winched it and we got it out. Then I hooked the tow strap to the back of the Sportsman and the rear of the Can-Am and he pulled me out.

I've been in a lot of black muck around creeks and been stuck a few times. It usually smells like something died in there and it bakes onto the muffler and header. Sometimes it takes several washes to get it out of all the nooks and crannys. Mine and the quads.

Okay, found the problem, the pics won't display without an extention (.jpg), my bad. The first four of these are larger than I wanted. I'll resize them later.

Fixed

ShDogxxx,

This might seem like a LOONEY (no pun) question
but what type of tires are you running? Stock? Or
some other aftermarket?

Does not look like you had alot of tree options to tie a winch to as well.

sheepdog that looks just like one of the beaver ponds we have in Ga where i ride with my cousins , everytime we ride these swamps i have to use my winch and a long tow rope to pull the other quads out ; i always go around these bogs in deeper stuff than they get stuck in but the bottom of the route i always take i can always get a better bite and make it through !

This is the worse type of muck and mire in Ga followed by the red Ga clay , the slickest beiing the red Ga clay either one will suck the shoe's off your feet trying to walk in it ; before the county paved the road's leading to our home they widened the main road this only made it worse !

That's looks like some thick stuff you and your freind where trying to get through , just like the muck of the Bever pond's are ; it's been a while since i've been down to my cousins so i don't know how deep the swamps are since the drought ; but i plan to check them out soon !.......
