help with CV boot

Default help with CV boot

okay i was riding and a stick got stuck in my rear a-arms and pushed the cv boot up i dont think i got torn. can i slide it back down or replace the whole thing. it lost a little bit of grease, if i can slide it down, how do i get the rign clip loose?

Default help with CV boot

If you rode it very far you need to replace it cause it threw all the grease out, get one from polaris and buy a set of earless pliers from snap-on or napa or someone cause they make it alot easier. Dont ride it very long or it will mess up the c-v joint and that will cost you more $.

ive seen them come off from the bell side but raare to slide up the shaft toward the bell side if thats what he means.

you better hope that you didn't ride it too far. trust me, CV's are not cheap...................shea.....................
